Atlas II robotic system technical manual
My thanks to Asher Hoskins who rescued a variety of Atlas related hardware and documentation that was in danger of being disposed of by Imperial College, London. (See the links page for the very useful Imperial College Atlas webpages that almost certainly reference this actual equipment.)
All credit to him too for heroically scanning his way through 174 pages of the Atlas II technical manual and giving permission for the resultant PDF file to be hosted and downloaded from BeebControl. This manual is a goldmine of useful information, to put it mildly. If you own an Atlas arm and need to repair it, recalibrate it, or just plain pull it apart out of curiosity - enjoy.
