Genesis and Feedback robot arm range

Strictly speaking, only three hydraulic models in the Genesis range were ever advertised for sale in Powertran Cybernetics' or Feedback Instruments' ads (note that Powertran also sold the much smaller motor-driven MicroGrasp arm as shown in this ad from Jan '83 - BeebControl's pending MicroGrasp page should fill in more details on that model soon).

I've included a fourth model, the M101, in the model line-up because it was technically available from Powertran as a kit of parts during 1982. And besides, it was such a wacky looking design it would be a shame to leave it out.

The models were often sold as a complete package, including Powertran's own 16-bit Cortex micro for full external control. See the picture at the bottom of the ad.

The range was also marketed in the USA in later years, for which market Feedback coined the term 'Armdraulic' and renumbered the models as EHA 1050 (ex-HRA933) and EHA 1052 (ex-HRA934). I'm guessing that EHA stood for 'Export Hydraulic Arm.' There was also an EHA 1052A model which had enhanced electronics in a number of areas.
