A number of expansion accessories were made available for the Clare board, most designed to plug into the 8-bit 'INBUS' or 'OUTBUS'. Shown above is the Clock Board, which plugged into the 'INBUS' and provided a choice of four clock pulses for the COUNTBIT and COUNTDOWN Control Logo commands - allowing accurate timing to take place. The clock rates were 0.5, 5, 50 and 500Hz. Also available was a screw terminal board for connecting projects to the expansion buses and a set of wired probes to fit the mini jack sockets.
