| The BBC Buggy's 1985 patent
I can't remember where I acquired this fascinating document - obviously from somewhere on the Web - so I hope its originators don't mind me making it available here. It's a copy of Economatics' original US patent application for the BBC Buggy from 1985 - two years after they took out their British patent. It supplies all sorts of interesting details about the function of various parts of the circuitry and the format of various control signals - not all of which can be gleaned from the existing manuals. The illustration on the left is an example of the level of detail the patent goes into.
